Meet the Team

Dr. Bahargul Atanur earned her undergraduate degree in Medicine and went on to pursue a master's degree with a specialization in Pulmonology. Upon her relocation to Canada, she furthered her education by earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Calgary. Dr. Atanur contributed to the healthcare field as a Registered Nurse for five years and later served as a Clinical Assistant for an additional two years in Calgary, Alberta. Her professional journey continued with the successful completion of the Family Medicine residency program at the University of British Columbia. Presently, Dr. Atanur practices as a family physician in Pitt Meadows, BC, and holds licensure from both the Medical Council of Canada and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC. Beyond her medical commitments, Dr. Atanur finds fulfillment in activities such as walking, running, and spending quality time engaging with her family. Additionally, she enjoys cooking with her family and friends. Fluent in Uyghur, and Uzbek, Dr. Atanur brings a multilingual perspective to her personal and professional life. Dr. Atanur is looking forward to helping the community. ​
